Elections Commission Publishes Provisional Electoral Register

The Elections Commission of the Velocity Interoperability Network today published the provisional electoral register for the first general election to the Network Assembly. The register records 37,095 electors: 26,340 citizens of the Network and 10,755 accredited staff of member organisations. It was compiled during the transition period from citizenship records and from returns supplied by member organisations.

The register is open for inspection from Monday 7 September 2026 at the office of the returning officer in each constituency. Electors are asked to check that their entry is correct. Those who are entitled to vote but do not appear on the register, and those whose entry is wrong, may register or correct their entry by writing to the Commission. Applications are confirmed by email, normally within five working days.

Citizens of the Network aged 18 or over on polling day are entitled to register. Staff of member organisations are entitled to register if they have been continuously accredited for twelve months on polling day and have declared a Network site as their principal place of work. Each elector is registered in one constituency only.

Updated registers will be published on 1 October and 2 November 2026. The register used at the first general election will be closed at 23:59 on Friday 13 November and published on Monday 16 November.
